I would not have passed. Then again, some of these questions are things that I learned, remembered long enough for civics class, and then filed away as “things I can look up if I ever need to know them again” so I’m not surprised that they weren’t facts I actively know.
I’m a little surprised – I got 8 right! But I knew the constitution date because of a test on A Tale of Two Cities in 9th grade, which cemented 1789 in my head as the beginning of the US under the constitution, and figured it took a couple years to write and ratify. I didn’t know how to define “rule of law”, though.
I did not pass.
I got 6. Barely! Plus, I could see Woodrow Wilson in my mind but could not think of his name. That should count as 1/2 right, no?
Wow! I did get 6 – but I shorted the House by 10 and the constitution by 2 (twice), and had a brain fart about the fella in the black robe.
7/10. Amendments, year the constitution was written, Woodrow Wilson. I think I need to go check out the amendments.
