Longtime readers of this blog may remember this 2007 video of two snapping turtles mating. Given their size, I would guess that they are two elderly snapping turtles. I was knitting on the deck when I heard splashing in the lake. I assumed it was one of the dogs, but I went down to the dock to see, Let me tell you, the mating ritual of turtles is a s-l-o-w game. In this video it appears that the male is attempting to mount the female, and she is having none of it.
Okay ………….now I want to pick up an ermine. No wait…………….I want someone else to pick up an ermine. I’ll just watch. (PUT DOWN THE ERMINE. LOL) Cute photos this week. Toto is right. We sure could use some of those rains.
Two turtles. Is it love? Is it a contest to see who can drown the other? Either way, such bliss. And RE: pigeons; we have quite a few black and white ones, mostly more black than white. As I got ready to volunteer the other day, I saw a small flock of black pigeons in the drive. I was a little hesitant to leave. . .
Okay. That Toto and the “rains down in Africa” gets me EVERY time I see it! And I love your turtle video. Happy Friday! XO
Those ducks! I love it! As well as your turtle video! Happy Friday to you!
Duck! It’s the ducks!
I remember that turtle video! Still a crowd-pleaser!
