I laughed at the politics and thanksgiving comment… so true! However, those republican candidates? Sadly, I think they will win. (maybe all except for Hershel Walker…)
Urgh – so much to rant about.
I think I’ll go cook some lentils…
The priest blessing the guns with holy water shocked me. There is a cognitive dissonance between the priest’s action and the commandment, “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” Guns are used to kill. There is a place for hunters in season getting moose, caribou, deer, geese, grouse or ducks in sustainable numbers to feed their families, but this photo did not appear to be a small amount of guns for a small band of hunters. I felt shocked and disgusted by this possible misuse and misapplication of the power of a supposed blessing. Holy water is meant to be used to purify, cleanse and uplift. It is not meant as an enhancer to successfully target and kill the victim of its use.
There are rants everywhere, indeed. Those noodle bowls look really yummy, though. I’m glad to see they’re not part of the rant.
So much to rant about for sure. I knit a baby sweater and a hat jn that same color in Stroll. I think the yarn is a good value and soft.
