Teach a person to knit, and they will try intarsia colorblocks, find out how many ends need to be woven in, and go back to asking other people to knit sweaters for them.

I love that purple sweater! But I hope the poster just to the left of that one managed to break the boyfriend curse. I wouldn’t have risked it with a cabled sweater like that.
