I have a small personal rant to lead off here. We were supposed to be camping in the mini-mini-motorhome on the North Shore of Lake Superior this week. We left on Monday after packing everything we would need and headed north. We got all the way to the next little village north — about five miles — before the m’home started acting up. After a fair amount of time in the parking lot of the local supermarket while Smokey tried to fix the problem, we called a tow truck to get back home.

So we are home this week, which does not totally suck. I will be able to join my book group, which is meeting later today. Lake Superior will have to struggle on without us.
And now, the opposite of a rant: small town rallies behind a local bakery.

Oh no! too bad about the camping trip being canceled. Glad you can look on the bright side, tho. Lake Superior will still be there once the mini-van is ready to go again. Maybe it will be cooler out! So hot here!

I love the meme’s you post. Today’s bunch was particularly amusing. I passed along three of them – one to 2 of my daughters and one to one of my sisters. All different ones that each could identify with – and get a laugh out of. Because we all need that! (and in case you are wondering, they were the avocado one, the one about plants with emotions and the ‘wine seeds’. Thank you for posting these!!
Car trouble is the worst. It’s never cheap and it’s always inconvenient. Glad you weren’t even further from home and there are upsides. Love the memes, always.
