I really did laugh our loud at the clever moves Shirley the squirrel invented to get her daily prize of squirrel seed. For her it seemed like it was an intelligence test combined with a gymnastic challenge.

There are too many shirleys here! So fun to watch that. I have the slam shut when the squirrels weight is upon the feeder. Mostly it works. We didn’t have many squirrels when we moved here. I think the hawks need to be hungrier and come and get them. I think Val will love this post. From wandering cats.
