Got time for some rants?

Observed on Tuesday. There is a proposed 26,000+ hog CAFO (confined animal feeding operation) proposed just north of our county. Republicans on the county board are in favor, the rest of the citizenry is opposed.

    I just read a bit about the CAFOs in Wisconsin. Can’t big business farms be profitable while also being environmentally safe? Wouldn’t corporations want to avoid the political hassles by setting up the most safe CAFOs that are good for the area and good for the bottom line? Is there a way to do that?

    So many favorite rants today.
    Bayfield county resisted the cafo monster. I’ll see if I can find any more info.
