Thank you for the post about Eugene Goodman! In such cynical times when there is evidence that some actual Republican Congress people were involved in supporting the rally that turned into an insurrection, it is reassuring to see to what lengths this officer put his life to keep everyone still in the Senate chambers safe.
I saw some early reports about Eugene Goodman, before they named him – just showing how his courage and quick-thinking saved so many lives. I’m glad he’s getting the respect due such a hero.
