Phil laughed out loud about blowing out birthday candles. I loved tbe ones “Mask hurt facey”, and the one about stuck at home versus safe at home. This is called reframing in Neuro-linguistic Programming and it does indeed work. Did you know that the Japanese use the same exact word for the feelings of anticipation and fear? Scientists have found that the exact same sensations course through the body when a person is excitedly and a bit nervously anticipating doing something new and when they are nervous and frightened to do something new? Just changing the label changes something of discomfort to something exciting to which one can look forward. P.S. I do not know the exact translations of the word the Japanese use to shift perception.
Okay, these are hilarious! (but that fly last night… FLY WILL VOTE! hahahahahahaha)
Love the historical birthday cake picture!
Thanks for these, Kathy! I always look forward to your humor-shares! XO

I like the reminder that hope is a renewable resource. Sometimes it feels like it’s an extremely rare thing.
Love them all but there are times when having the days of the week on your underwear would be helpful…..
