FIRST THINGS FIRST.
SAVE THE POSTAL SERVICE.
Here is what I wrote to them:
The post office is a service established in the US Constitution. It is abominable that the president and his Postmaster General appointee are doing their best to destroy it.
It is not just mail-in voting; it is medication by mail, bills, business, and a host of other things. As a rural resident, I depend on the mail for all of those things and more.
Please do your part to keep it fully functional.

Love -. Only when normal things are not normal……kinda says it all.
I never thought I would miss normal, but here we are…
“May you live in interesting times” is a curse and not a blessing for a reason. I miss boring times.
I’ve seen similar posts about socialism in America before. Really makes you realize how important education is.
AAAUURRRGGHHH.
I emailed the (all-white, all male) members of the board. Obviously I don’t understand irony.
I think I have had actual dreams about eating in a restaurant. Remember? Remember the sound of restaurant plates, and silverware, and the generic banter with the waiter? Somebody coming to your table with more coffee? Getting there early before the Sunday after-church rush?
I’m back.
Looking at that list of socialism, Republicans have been going after every one of them since Reagan. Including the military. Blackwater didn’t appear out of nowhere. Grrr.
I just can’t even anymore. But these are all GREAT little tidbits, Kathy. Thanks so much for posting them! XO
I have always loved Normal. I love normal days, normal routines and normal seasons of the year
