Three on Thursday.

3-on-thursday

I haven’t done a 3oT post in forever. Today’s post is three things I have been procrastinating on. Maybe posting this will spur action…?

Thing the First. Get the herbs and coleus I bought nearly a month ago into their planters. As much as I love flowers and growing things, I hate to get my hands dirty. Gardening gloves have alleviated that problem over the years; right now it is sheer lack of focus/energy/mojo that prevents me.

Thing the Second. Amend three different FEC financial reports filed earlier this year. I got all the transactions in, but (Duh!) forgot to enter the beginning cash balance. Before I filed the report due today I attempted to amend those previous ones, but I could not find a box to check to indicate that the report was an amended one. However, when I went to upload the current one I saw that in the last or nearly last screen was that sought-after box. Pro tip: the FEC software is definitely not user-friendly, although the people I call for help definitely are.

Thing the Third. Finishing this post.

    2. Fill up my infuser with water and peace and calming essential oil.
    3. Meditate.
    4. Check my soaking seeds and put the sprouted ones in cups of soil.
    5. E-mail my receipt for a reimbursement to a hotel that has a deposit for a reservation in the USA. Duh, our borders are closed!

I hope sharing your list with us prompts you to get these things done – and you can at least cross off #3!

Is this why I did things today? Only two, but that’s two more than . . . some undisclosed period of time.
    1. Hung a print that’s been waiting for 6 months?
    2. Rehanging a print that had to move for the first! Yay!
    3. Remount a shelf that was wildly under-supported.
    Now for a new list.

  6. today was : wash winter duvet and dry it well
    (still drying)
Finish casting off the shawl I’ve been working on for at least a month. (done with cast off, must block and possibly add an edge)
Go to a store, in person, with mask on, and wipes for the cart. Get in and out of Pet shop in under 15 minutes : DONE!
