“White supremacy is the difference between peaceful protestors being met with rubber bullets and tear gas versus protestors openly carrying guns demanding that cities open in a pandemic and being met with silence and no response from police.”

Support black-owned yarn shops, indie dyers, and designers.

When the issue bubbled up last year about the fiber community’s ill treatment of POC, I made a commitment to buy a pattern every week from a designer of color. But after a couple months I got distracted. This week I did a search for black knitwear designers and found bipocfiber.com. I have renewed my commitment. Please join me in supporting POC in the fiber community.
