Joining Kat and friends.

I haven’t taken photos of my knitting, so I will jump directly to reading.

book cabin 10 The Woman in Cabin 10 by Ruth Ware. An okay suspense/murder mystery novel. Premise is okay. although a bit farfetched, plus having the heroine eternally exhausted and hungover got old. 2-1/2★

book outsider

The Outsider by Stephen King. I somehow missed this one when it came out in 2018. Although it took 200+ pages to get to the interesting part, I still enjoyed it. 3★

It took me a few moments to figure out – God shave the Queen! LOL!

  4. I needed that fairy: figure out what to do to feel better in this moment. Im in a sad mood right now. I just told the barn and friends that we will not be back this Summer. It took us time to reach this decision and I was fine with it yesterday. But today, the reality…..makes me feel unsettled. So I m off to cut my husbands hair!!! That should entertain me for a bit. I have to admit to being more moody lately about COVID . Things reopening, but we don’t feel safe with lesser restrictions. This too shall pass.

  5. I enjoyed the popcorn thriller aspect of The Woman in Cabin 10, but the MC really got on my nerves. And at least I didn’t expect a believable premise, so I wasn’t missing anything on that front. 😉

  6. Kat says:

Those raccoons! LOL That is brilliant! 🙂
