Teach a man to fish…

For fans of British TV.

Lion King: the real story.

The catch-22 of poverty.

Professional eating goats.

No humor here, just a delightful-sounding summer cocktail.

Opinion from a Midwestern girl woman.

Something we all should know. Something else.

It all depends on where you grew up.

What could possibly go wrong?

  3. Kitten With A Whiplash says:

Give a man a fish and he will give it to a woman. So she can clean and cook it tor him.
Teach a man to fish and he will give her many fish, And she will, one day, skin and fillet him instead of the fish. Thus are the scales of fish and the Scales Of Justice intertwined.

Me: Born and raised in San Francisco. Stayed there.

I love the links today! We have professional eating goats here, too. I see them set to work on eating down the grass that grows to the side of the freeways. (Side note: I’ve been told goats are better for this than sheep, because the goats crop down the vegetation while still leaving enough to prevent the soil from washing/blowing away. Sheep do more damage to the root systems, and so will not leave enough of the grass there to protect the soil.)

I totally understand the one about it depending on where you grew up. I need my mountains and trees and seagulls. The middle of the country is just way. too. flat.
