I think there should be a parade. With pie.

  4. Nicole says:

Very fun! I have yet to plan ahead well enough to actually celebrate Pi day with pie, but I will get there one of these days!

Pi day is the end of Nerdigras, as described by Chris Wilson. In American date format, Christmas is 12.25 and March 5 is 3.5; 3.5 is the square root of 12.25. So March 5 is the square root of Christmas. The ten days from the square root of Christmas to Pi Day is Nerdigras.

I forgot all about it, so no pie for me! Thanks for the fun Pi-facts. 🙂
