In honor of Memorial Day, here are a couple of ways to express your gratitude to our troops far from home: Operation Gratitude Warmth for Warriors.
Looks like the beginnings of a nice potholder/baby blanket/afghan.
How’s your spidey sense?
Fun DYI shoes!
“I ain’t afraid a no stitch markers!”
Yep, we’ve all been there.
Awww.
A masterfully told tale of woe.
Poor kitteh!

Thanks for Warmth for Warriors info. I think my pal Karen and I will knit some and spur each other on. We teamed up for the teddybearproject one year. I hope she wants to knit a few scarves with me. ITs just more fun that way.
Yep, we’ve all been there.
I have never never had a plying ball work well AT ALL. I think plying balls are a lie and a trap…
Ugh, that is a tale of woe indeed! Looks like the end results came out okay, though. Still… it’s a reminder that I need to be careful when going back to spinning, and to keep an eye on my ball winder. I don’t have that one, but mine looks similarly cheap, so I need to keep an eye on it as well. (Sadly I have no replacement suggestions.)
