To explain to the young’uns among us, Dreamsicles were a delightful summertime treat back in the 1960s. The linked Wikipedia article tells us that Creamsicles had an ice cream center, and Dreamsicles had an ice milk center. Both were delicious.
Yesterday I noticed this in the refrigerator. The light bulb above my head, often dark, sparked into brilliant illumination.
It was delicious.

Creamsicles were the best. Another good combination is orange sherbet with vanilla ice cream.
Good idea, maybe even a bit better if you add some vodka!

I think they make orange-flavored vodka. You could skip the orange juice altogether, except maybe at breakfast.

They also make a Cream flavored vodka! My kids introduced me to it. Is this why we have children?
And here I sit, with no orange juice, whipped cream, or even vodka in the house… *sigh*…
