Cheerfully stolen from Kim. It may be a Monday meme, but my Mondays are taken and I need something for today*.
What tempts you most ? Your local yarn shop sale or An online sale?
Neither, she said stoically. I am on a yarn fast. (And I have managed to ignore numerous online sales in the past few months.)
Which do you put off more? Weaving in ends or button placement?
Buttons, definitely, or more accurately, buttonholes. This sweater sat in WIP state for well over a year before I finally sucked it up and made the button band.
Winter hats, pompom or no pompom?
No pompoms, please.
Electric blanket or down?
Ha, both (sorta)! We both have a down comforter and an electric mattress pad.
Travel plans: pay for the tour or discover on your own?
Discover on my own.
2016 Vacation plans? In the works or already bought the tickets?
Nothing yet.
Photographs: outdoors or indoors?
Yes..
Scarf or cowl?
Cowl for accessorizing indoors, scarf when I go out.
* I am in tax training Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. Gonna be a volunteer tax preparer this year, something I have been meaning to do ever since I retired. Go, 1040s!
This is my chance to tell you that I wear the cowl you knitted for me ALL THE TIME–even around our chilly house. It’s as though you’re hanging there around my neck.
Which doesn’t actually sound all that nice, now that I’ve typed it. But it’s LOVELY to have you hanging around my neck.
an Electric Mattress pad? What?? How wonderful!
So glad you caught the meme. Interesting how many folks explore on their own.
I’m with Kathy B. Electric mattress pad? Sounds like heaven. . .
Oooo – electric mattress pad… makes so much more sense than an electric blanket…
Go 1040!
I once had an electric mattress pad, it was lovely. But it went with the special bed that went to a deserving person. Sigh. Therefore, down. Cowl for going out because scarves tend to fall off in the stores. Scarf around the house at home so it can be removed easily at need.
