Ten Things I Did Over The Labor Day Weekend.Ten on Tuesday

  1. Screwed up the afghan (again). More on that in Wednesday’s post.
  2. Photographed error in afghan. (See Wednesday.)
  3. Made major progress on a hat for a friend. First thing I have made from madtosh. Lovely stuff.
  4. Wrote a couple blog posts for this week.
  5. Finished one book (Suspect / Robert Crais) and started another (The Bones of You / Debbie Howells). Suspect was okay and got better the farther I got into it; once again, an author has captured the thought processes and emotional state of a canine. Bones is good; too soon to say whether it will reach fabulous status.
  6. Wound some yarn. Even though I reached S.A.B.L.E status a while back I seem to continue to acquire yarn — four skeins this time. And I have made it a habit to catalog new yarn on Ravelry and wind it before stashing it.
  7. Ate lots of watermelon and cantaloupe. Mmmm.
  8. Took a nap on Saturday. That day was pretty much a do-nothing day.
  9. Typed up the minutes from a Friends of the Library meeting last week.
  10. Worked on the humane society webpage. Now every page that is able to has at least one animal photo, plus I like the font better.
  11. Played lots of Word Seek and watched lots of NCIS on Netflix with Smokey.

It all sounds good, except for the afghan screw-up. I’m guessing that with photo documentation, you may not make that same mistake again.

Most of that list sounds like a weekend well and enjoyably spent. (Excluding afghan errors, of course.)

Sounds great but that’s a bummer on the afghan screw up. The saga continues, though, and it’s entertaining for us!
