I have four project OTN right now. Guess what I did yesterday?

Cast on a baby hat for here. Hats are the comfort knitting of comfort knitting.

I was looking at the photo, thinking what a neat texture the yarn had, then realized it was wearing a bra. Such disappointment…

Hats are also quick – the interruption to longer projects. The break when something gets tedious. The change of pace… without being so long as to distract you from the larger works.

I had never heard of the Period of Purple Crying – you always find the most amazing stuff! Perhaps when I’m done with chemo caps I’ll turn to those little purple hats…

Thanks for sharing the Purple for Babies campaign. Since I love purple anyway, and am always looking for small projects to knit on the bus, this is a natural!
