The road not taken…

…can lead to extremely interesting discoveries when one finally travels on it.

.

A perfectly ordinary farmhouse, now on the edge of a nearby village and probably no longer part of an operating farm.

Farm 1
But strange things lurk near the mailbox.

Farm 2
Even stranger critters lurk in a fenced-in area in the yard.

Farm 3
Farm 4
I know you want a closer look.

Farm 5
Farm 7

I have lived here 12 years and never knew this zoo existed. Let this be a lesson to you: when you want to avoid road construction, try an unfamiliar route home. You never know what you will find

You know, coming in late and skimming the comments leads to “sunglasses? what sunglasses?” and “spider?”
I want the dog. And I’ve thought about welding just to make this stuff. Although smaller.
