This is long — ten minutes! — but well worth it.

That video lines up nicely along Richard Sennett’s The Craftsman (which I have been recommending left right and centre, it is a good read: makes you think without making your brain hurt with expensive words.) Thanks for sharing. Though the frequency with which the concepts of mastery and purpose have been cropping up lately is freaky. Is the universe trying to tell me something?
You’re right – that video certainly was worth the 10 minutes!
(Love the velociraptor poster, too!)
O.k. that middle video hit home. I soooo want to (INappropriately) get it to my boss. (Maybe appropriately.) Thanks!
Amazing! It moved pretty fast for me…easy solution, I’ll watch it again, a time or four. But I get it — (or will). I think it explains a lot of why I do what I do. I’m in the enviable positon of being “retired” and therefore working at something I love, which is improving my mastery, is beneficial (education of kiddies) and believe me when I tell you, the money is NOT the reward. I’m not complaining though, it’s ALMOST as much as I need for yarn. thanks for this K!
Love your posts! Keep it up！
