Better safe than sorry.

Yesterday I got vaccinated against H1N1.

This morning I had my annual mammogram.

I just signed up for online data backup for my computer (already have a external hard drive that backs up automatically every hour or so).

…and if I ever knit lace I will use a life line. That is all.

I lied. That is not all.

Last night I had the delightful experience of joining four other local fiber crafters (3 knitters, 1 crocheter) for a couple hours of fibery fun, chatting, and a scrumptious chocolate dessert. I may have [finally] found my knitting group 🙂 Thanks, Julie, for the invite!

I found this in the readme.txt file that came with the online backup software.

"Mozy may protect you from a zombie invasion in a post-apocalyptic environment."

Good to know…

  1. Kym says:

Well. You can never be too careful. Especially with the threat of a zombie invasion. Post-apocalyptic, of course! ;^)

  2. Kitten says:

if the zombies come before the apocalypse you’re on your own.

  3. Diane says:

Oh sure, zombie protection is standard. But what about protection from swarms of locusts, frogs, flies and gnats? Or hail storms, earthquakes and tornadoes? For that, you need the deluxe version….

  4. Jeanne says:

It’s good your data MAY be safe in the event of a zombie invasion. I’ll bet that’s a big relief.

  5. Cookie says:

    Now you’re ready for anything!

  6. Chris says:

Hmm. Maybe you should shop around more, see if there are other online backup sites that provide more comprehensive apocalyptic coverage.

  7. Cindy says:

Glad you found a fun group – presumably no zombies involved.

  8. Erika says:

I wish I had thought to snap a pic of the sign I saw at the grocery store. It said, and I quote:
“H1N1 now available in the pharmacy”
    (The vaccine, sure, that’s different!)

  9. gayle says:

I love when people tuck in little giggles – I’m sure they often suspect that no one is going to read the readme.txt file anyway…

  10. lisa says:

There are zombie battles at my house…

  11. Angie says:

    Back-ups and being prepared! Yay.
